Signature Wooden Head - Thermostatic Radiator Valve & Installation Kit - Natural Pewter Corner 15mm
Signature Wooden Head - Thermostatic Radiator Valve & Installation Kit - Natural Pewter Corner 15mm
Connection
Designed for UK homes, these valves feature a ½" BSP radiator connection, making them compatible with all standard radiators and towel rails. The 15mm pipework connection suits most household plumbing setups, and alternative sizes (8mm & 10mm) are available for those with microbore pipework.
Installation
These pipe covers are made from solid brass. They can be cut down in height to suit your pipework. They are designed to slide over 15mm copper pipes and therefore, must be fitted before the valves and radiator.
This pack includes a bleed valve to bleed your radiator and a blanking plug, which goes on the opposite side to the bleed valve (at the top of the radiator or towel rail) to keep the unit completely sealed and functioning.
Fitting Type
Corner valves provide a 90-degree connection—similar to angled valves—but are specifically designed for scenarios where:
Pipework comes out of the wall and connects to the side of the radiator.
Pipework exits the wall and the radiator has bottom connections.
Pipework bends up to side connections but the valve sits in front of the radiator—though in this case, angled valves may be more discreet.
Each valve set includes a matching lockshield for the return side, ensuring both functionality and visual harmony.
Control Type
These are Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRVs), allowing individual temperature control for each radiator. A built-in wax sensor automatically regulates hot water flow, helping maintain a consistent room temperature while reducing energy usage. The head’s grooved indicator system lets you set your preferred temperature, while frost protection mode prevents damage by opening slightly if room temperatures drop too low—even when switched off.
Material
Constructed from high-grade brass, these valves are built to last and resist wear over time. The classic wooden head adds a premium, timeless touch that complements period-style interiors.
Colour
A textured matt grey finish, Natural Pewter is inspired by the tone of antique cast iron and pewter goblets. Its neutral elegance pairs beautifully with a variety of radiator colours—white, black, anthracite, and raw metal finishes—making it a versatile choice for both traditional and modern settings.
Style
Perfect for period homes, heritage-style bathrooms, or anyone installing a traditional column radiator, these wooden head valves evoke a timeless aesthetic. Their classic styling delivers the perfect finishing touch to any room that values both function and form.
Final Touch
Complete the look by adding matching pipe covers to your basket—ideal for concealing exposed pipework and maintaining a cohesive finish.
